Victoria Mews
Scope: Replacement
Victoria Mews is an 18-building property spread across two city blocks in San Francisco. Each building offers a stately Victorian exterior, comfortable apartments within, and stunning views of the City from a rooftop deck. BT Roof was engaged in reroofing the 18 buildings on the property. Bigham Taylor began working at the site in 2009, tearing off and installing a pair of buildings at the corner of 19th Street and Wisconsin Street. Buildings down Carolina and 20th Street were completed this year.
San Francisco Warehouse
Scope: Coating
San Francisco’s history as a hub of commerce dates back to the city’s earliest days. Today, the City’s numerous warehouses and industrial complexes act as distribution centers for many of the world’s largest retailers. When BT rolled up to the building on Toland Street in San Francisco, it found a building in need of maintenance service and repair.
As with many coatings jobs, the first step on this project was to remove all debris and power wash the surface. Once cleaned, the BT crew fixed all of the roof’s deficiencies and patched all cracks to stabilize the system. We then cut back the perimeter edge and resealed it to the edge metal with a special primer and Gacoflex coating before coating the entire roof with silicone to remove the risk of leaks.
